Meet Tanya

Hi, I'm Tanya

I believe in the value of a strong body and a positive mindset. I feel that goals need to be achievable, you need to see results along the way, and as well as putting in the work, you have to have fun!

 

I’m enthusiastic to embark on a fitness journey with you, no matter your previous experience or fitness level.  I think we are often capable of achieving way more than we think we can. The key is to simply begin and take that first step towards becoming a stronger you, and make a lasting impact on your health and fitness.

What am I like?

I am confident, empathetic, grounded, fun.  When I'm not in the gym I enjoy nature, walking, I love to travel, being on the water with kayaks and paddle boards, and family time with my son.

I have a background in catering, enjoying food and nutrition for health and for pleasure.

I love my work, expanding my own horizons and seeing clients do the same,  As a trainer, your'll find me kind, super-focussed, and always ready for a laugh!

My journey

In the past I've had an extraordinary job that has taken me travelling around the world. Now in my fifties, a mum to a teenage lad, my fitness keeps me young and more alive than ever.

I have enjoyed working out for many years, but often found I would start something then fizzle out, struggling to stay focussed and interested.  By chance, I discovered a self-defence course using martial arts and fitness as the syllabus, bringing about a new focus and strong mind set.  I love all the training I do, even when its really hard - I find overcoming challenges brings me such a deep sense of achievement. I am stronger and more confident than I've ever been, exceeding goals I could not have imagined in the past.


The key thing for me was about taking the commitment to put my health and wellbeing first.  I have found having someone along side you can draw out the best from within,  driving you forward, inspiring strength, hope and excitement for life!
